Van Loggerenberg ‘Breton’ Cabernet Franc 2025

Lukas van Loggerenberg's tribute to the Loire, rooted in Stellenbosch. Breton is an old Loire name for Cabernet Franc, and it was one of the first four wines Lukas made when he launched in 2016.

The 2025 comes from two Stellenbosch vineyards on decomposed granite with iron-rich koffieklip: 75% from Eersterivier and 25% from the Polkadraai Hills. Picked for freshness and energy rather than ripeness, it's a bright, perfumed and elegant Cabernet Franc.
