Triple Three Affinata Husk Spirit

This is a Grappa styled spirit by The Triple Three Distillery. Hand-crafted by distilling the grape husk (softly pressed skins and stems) in family heirloom copper pot stills, these spirits pays homage to the traditional art of Italian spirits distillation.

Available in "Affinata (Barrel-aged) & "Novello" (Clear & crisp), these spirits are traditionally referred to as “Healthy Water”. As a Grappa aficionado, one would typically sip on this spirit at the end of a rich meal to relax and digest.

"Affinata" (meaning “refined” or “matured”), speaks to aged character that you can expect from this sophisticated, brown husk spirit. Matured like a fine wine, expect a rich array of dark fruit character, with hints of toasted oak and warm spices.

Colour: Deep amber-gold colour.

Nose: A nutty, dark chocolate smell that develops into a dark rum and raisin-like character.

Palate: A similarly smooth and soft character, but rich in nuances of warm, nutty butterscotch. This barrel-aged profile is rounded off with spiced notes of saffron and clove.
