The seventh release in The Macallan's Archival Series celebrates a much-loved 1986 advertisement, The Boffins Baffled, in which a party of scientists failed to explain what made The Macallan so special, and insisted on taking extra whisky back to the lab for research.
Golden honey in colour. Dried fruit, baked apple and pear, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, chocolate and orange on the nose; raisins, fig, milk chocolate and orange peel on the palate; a long, creamy finish. 43% ABV.
