The Macallan 18 Year Old Sherry Cask - 2023 Release

The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old, 2023 Release forms part of our Sherry Oak Collection which features a series of single malt whiskies matured in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez for richness and complexity.

Erik has captured the flavour notes of the whisky; the warming, amber hues in the still life are a nod to the subtle notes on the nose of sultanas, orange and ground cinnamon. Key flavours of stem ginger, soaked raisins, sticky dates and dark chocolate depicted in this still life.

Colour: Light mahogany.

Nose: Treacle tart with stem ginger, soaked raisins and sultanas with a hint of orange and ground cinnamon.

Palate: Soft and rich, with flavours of dark chocolate coated ginger with dates and dried apricots, balanced with oak and the sweetness of vanilla.

Finish: Lingering with dried fruits, ginger and oak.
