The Balvenie 12 Year Old Doublewood

The Balvenie DoubleWood gets its name from its two-cask journey: matured in traditional oak whisky casks, then moved into first-fill European oak sherry casks to round it off.

Nutty and spiced on the nose, with honeyed sultanas and grapes. The palate is sweet and full, with vanilla, dried fruit and nuts, and the finish is gently spiced and slightly drying. A classic single malt that's easy to love. 43% ABV.
