Tembela Chenin Blanc 2024

Tembela means faith, hope and belief in isiXhosa, a tribute by winemaker Banele Vakele to his late mother. This fifth release comes from 40-year-old dryland bush vines on decomposed granite at Geluksoord, near Bottelary in Stellenbosch.

Whole-bunch pressed, naturally fermented in older 500-litre oak and aged 10 months on the lees. Unfined, with minimal sulphur.
