Stellenrust Chenin d’Muscat Noble Late Harvest 2023 (375ml)

Stellenrust Chenin d’Muscat Noble Late Harvest is a sweet South African dessert wine from the historic Stellenrust estate in Stellenbosch. This wine continues a long family tradition and is the only wine from the estate still carrying its original 1928 label, paying tribute to two of the oldest vineyards on the Bottelary property.

Crafted from a blend of Chenin Blanc and Muscat de Alexandria, the grapes are left on the vine to achieve high sugar concentration, often influenced by noble rot (Botrytis), which enhances both intensity and complexity.

The palate is rich and luscious, showing concentrated flavours of ripe apricot, citrus peel, honey and delicate floral notes. Despite its sweetness, the wine remains beautifully balanced with refreshing natural acidity and a long, elegant finish.

Perfect as an after-dinner wine, it pairs wonderfully with creamy or fruit-based desserts, blue or soft cheeses, or can be enjoyed on its own as a luxurious treat.
