A serious old-vine Chenin Blanc from a tiny vineyard planted in 1956 on granite near the Paarl–Stellenbosch border. It was once earmarked for removal before Duncan Savage stepped in.

Restrained rather than fruity, with old-vine concentration, texture and depth from barrel fermentation and maturation, kept bright by the granite soils and natural acidity.
