Named for the 1738 royal decree that let Rémy Martin plant new vineyards when others were forbidden.

Plum and fig marmalade with toffee and toasted bread. Mellow butterscotch, baked spice and dark chocolate, with a complex fruity, nutty finish. Neat, on ice, or in a Sidecar or Sazerac.
