Tasting Notes

Colour: Deep ruby with vibrant purple highlights.

Nose: Perfumed and expressive, revealing aromas of blackberry, black cherry and wild raspberry layered with white pepper, violet, fynbos, olive tapenade and subtle hints of cured meat and liquorice.

Palate: Medium-bodied, elegant and beautifully textured. Juicy dark berries, plum and red cherry are complemented by cracked black pepper, dried herbs and savoury spice. Fine-grained tannins, lively acidity and a distinctive mineral backbone create a wine of remarkable freshness and precision.

Finish: Long, savoury and vibrant with lingering dark fruit, white pepper, subtle spice and a persistent mineral finish.
