Donovan Rall's flagship red, named after his daughter Ava, from a single vineyard on schist near Riebeeksrivier in the Swartland.
Mostly whole-bunch fermented with a light hand, it's about purity rather than extraction or oak: vibrant fruit, savoury complexity, florals and a striking mineral spine. Built to age.
