Obsidian Nectar Cap Classique

The richer, gently sweet expression from Obsidian, a luxury Cap Classique house in the Witzenberg Valley of Tulbagh. Made from 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir by the traditional method, with 18 months on the lees.

Obsidian uses far less sugar than many Nectar-style wines, so it's luscious without being cloying. Toasted brioche and almond, ripe apple and citrus, a silky mousse and a clean, mineral finish. And the dark bottle makes quite an entrance. 12% ABV.
