Myburgh Bros ‘Little J’ Red 2024

A juicy, medium-bodied Paarl red from brothers Tyrrel and Philip Myburgh of Joostenberg, made for everyday enjoyment. Syrah and Cinsault lead, with a little Mourvèdre, Touriga Nacional and Grenache Noir, bottled young to keep it bright and fresh.

The vines grow on decomposed granite and clay-shale, mostly dry-farmed, all hand-harvested. Fresh cherry and plum, pepper, dried herbs and gentle spice. Lovely slightly chilled.
