Michter’s Sour Mash

Michter's limits its small batches to twenty barrels, so nothing sub-par can be blended away. Its grain recipe makes this sour mash neither bourbon nor rye, and it was named Whisky of the Year 2019 by The Whisky Exchange.

Toasted burnt sugar, spice, smoky fruit, candied cherry and honeyed vanilla. It starts like a bourbon and finishes like a rye.
