MHOBA South African Wine Cask Aged Rum

A single-estate rum from MHOBA Distillery near Malalane in Mpumalanga, made from freshly pressed sugarcane juice grown on the estate's own Nkomazi fields and distilled in custom-built pot stills.

RSAWC stands for Refurbished South African Wine Cask: the rum is matured in oak that previously held South African wine, much of it from Franschhoek. The wine casks add a rich, fruit-driven layer to the fresh, grassy character of the cane. A proudly South African rum, and a fascinating sipper.
