MHOBA Bourbon Cask Aged Rum

An artisanal rum from MHOBA Distillery near Malalane in Mpumalanga, made entirely from freshly pressed sugarcane juice grown on the estate rather than molasses, and distilled in traditional pot stills.

Maturation in ex-bourbon oak brings vanilla, caramel, toasted wood and warming spice, which sit beautifully against the fresh, grassy and slightly funky character of the cane spirit. A characterful South African rum for sipping or for a serious rum cocktail.
