Laphroaig Oak Select

Whisky from Oloroso sherry butts, Pedro Ximénez hogsheads and first-fill bourbon quarter casks, with a final maturation in new American oak and a measure of Laphroaig 10.

Peat, then ripe red fruit. Sweet up front, then dry, peaty and ashy, with a long, floral finish of marzipan and lime. A fantastic introduction to peated whisky.
