Harvest Ale is Soul Barrel Brewing Co.’s annual autumn seasonal release — a celebration of local agriculture, changing seasons, and uniquely South African ingredients. Each year, the beer evolves to reflect the harvest and growing conditions of the season.

This year’s expression takes the form of an American Brown Ale with a distinctly local twist, brewed with rooibos and Winelands fynbos honey. Built on a rich base of specialty caramel malts and balanced with hops grown in Soul Barrel’s own beer garden, the result is a smooth and comforting ale layered with malt richness, gentle spice, and floral complexity.
