Glenfarclas 44 Year Old 1977 (cask 7284)

A landmark single-cask Glenfarclas, distilled on 4 November 1977, matured for 44 years in cask #7284 and bottled on 21 September 2022. Only 189 individually numbered bottles were produced.

Deep amber-gold with mahogany glints. The nose opens with figs, raisins and candied orange peel, then cinnamon, clove, leather and old polished oak, with cocoa and tobacco leaf over the classic sherried Glenfarclas core. Full-bodied and luxuriously rich on the palate. Nearly half a century in one glass.
