Glenfarclas 10 Year Old

Glenfarclas 10 Year Old is the entry point into one of Scotland’s most respected family-owned distilleries, run by the Grant family since 1865. Matured in 100% Oloroso sherry casks, it offers far more depth and character than its age might suggest.

This is a wonderfully traditional Speyside single malt — approachable, smooth, and naturally sherried, with the distillery’s signature balance of malt richness and fruit-led sweetness. Often considered an excellent introduction to the Glenfarclas style, it remains a favourite for both newcomers and seasoned whisky drinkers alike. 

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Sweet sherry notes lead with honey, creamy toffee, malted barley, vanilla, and hints of pear and orchard fruit.

Palate: Light yet flavourful, showing sherry sweetness, dried fruit, fruitcake, soft toffee, and warming cinnamon spice.

Finish: Long, smooth, and gently spicy, with lingering oak, malt, and delicate dried fruit.
