Flor de Caña 18 Year Old Rum

An ultra-premium sipping rum from Flor de Caña, the Nicaraguan family estate whose rum-making history goes back to 1890. It is aged for a full 18 years in American white oak bourbon barrels at the foot of the San Cristóbal volcano.

Six more years than the 12 Year Old take it in a richer, more oak-led direction: caramel, deep vanilla and warming spice with toasted nuts and seasoned oak, while keeping the house's relatively dry style. Made without added sugar. 40% ABV. Lovely neat or over a single large ice cube with a twist of orange peel.
