Étoile offers a very different expression of the Ott⋆ vineyards. It is a very unusual wine and the only one capable of expressing the richness and diversity of our vineyards as a whole. It is an author’s wine, stepping outside the official appellations, the fruit of the free-thinking of a wine artisan.

Étoile is an invitation to discover the essence of the Domaines Ott⋆ identity through three unique characteristics: the salinity of Clos Mireille, the smooth elegance of Château de Selle, and the depth of Château Romassan. Bespoke ageing in stainless steel vats and spherical ceramic containers brings out the fresh, crisp fruit with a slightly saline character. This is an exceptional rosé, built for the future and the perfect partner for the best of today’s gastronomy.

Very bright and radiant appearance with a peachy hue and delicate pearly highlights. The first nose reveals a fine minerality, then opens up with white peach and citrus fruit fragrances. Hints of tarragon bring a touch of freshness to the whole. The exceptionally silky entry to the palate lends the wine a distinctive texture, building energy and complexity and revealing an elegant blend of pomelo, strawberry and sweet lemon. The spicy finish on this first class rosé shows its great potential for cellar-ageing.
