Domaine du Bel Air Bourgueil “Jour de Soif” 2022

Jour de Soif means “day of thirst”, and this is Loire Cabernet Franc made for drinking: bright, juicy, fresh and light on its feet. Domaine du Bel Air in Bourgueil has been certified organic since 2000.

The grapes grow on gravel terraces and clay soils, are fermented with indigenous yeasts and gently extracted, then matured in tank on fine lees with no oak. Expect vivid red fruit and a fresh, savoury finish. Lovely lightly chilled, with charcuterie or roast chicken.
