Beeslaar Chardonnay 2025

Abrie Beeslaar's polished, restrained Chardonnay, using oak for texture and complexity rather than butter. Fruit comes from selected Western Cape vineyards on shale, which adds weight, and decomposed granite, which adds freshness.

The mild 2025 season kept acidity bright. Grapes were hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed, then fermented and aged 12 months on the lees in French oak, only 15% of it new. Textured, focused and elegant, with real length.
