Ardbeg An Oa

Singularly rounded, thanks to time in Ardbeg's oak Gathering Vat, where whiskies from PX, charred virgin oak and ex-bourbon casks come together.

Applewood smoke, creamy toffee, aniseed, treacle and dates, with peach, banana and a briny edge. Creamy and syrupy-sweet: milk chocolate, treacle toffee, orange, smoky tea, nutmeg and cinnamon. A long finish of aniseed, hickory and distant smoke.
