Maystay Experimental IPA is Triggerfish Brewing's annual hop experiment, featuring a new recipe every year and showcasing the brewery's passion for innovation. A playful twist on the nautical term Mainstay, the name Maystay reflects the beer's uncertain future—it may, or may not, remain in the lineup depending on how drinkers respond to each year's unique creation.

This year's edition is brewed as a single-hop IPA featuring the South African Southern Tropic hop variety, making its debut in a Triggerfish recipe. Designed to highlight the character of a single hop, the beer explores the unique flavours and aromas Southern Tropic brings to the glass. Expect classic English IPA-inspired notes of floral, herbal, and subtle spice aromas balanced by a smooth golden malt backbone.

As with every Maystay release, experimentation is at the heart of the beer, ensuring that no two vintages are ever quite the same.
