The Cavalli Unoaked Chenin Blanc 2026 is a vibrant, fruit-driven expression of Stellenbosch Chenin Blanc that celebrates freshness, purity, and varietal character. Produced from hand-harvested grapes grown on the Helderberg slopes, this unwooded wine is crafted to preserve the natural aromatics and lively acidity of the fruit, resulting in a crisp and refreshing wine that's perfect for any occasion.

The grapes are harvested over two cool early-morning pickings before being whole-bunch pressed and settled for two days to achieve exceptional juice clarity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks using two carefully selected yeast strains—one chosen to enhance the wine's vibrant tropical fruit profile and the other to create a softer, rounder mouthfeel. A short period of lees contact adds subtle texture without compromising the wine's bright, fruit-forward style.

Fresh, elegant, and wonderfully expressive, this Chenin Blanc is made to be enjoyed in its youth, showcasing lively fruit, zesty acidity, and a clean, refreshing finish.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Bright aromas of white peach, lemongrass, lime zest, and delicate floral notes.

Palate: Fresh and vibrant with flavours of passion fruit, winter melon, citrus, and juicy stone fruit, balanced by crisp acidity and a soft, rounded texture.

Finish: Clean, lively, and refreshing with lingering citrus and mineral freshness.
